Um so my boyfriend has been really mean to me lately, I wouldn't put it as abusive but kinda. He is now just plan out mean making fun of me in front of his friend and my friends and has been hitting my legs and arms and cutting my legs with his nails when i am wearing jorts or shorts. And he slapped me out of the blue when i was just talking, he pulls my hair and stuff?? I don’t really know what to do and I know he has some mental and home life problems but I don’t think I should let it slide if he is doing those things..
What do you guys think?

This is abuse. The longer you stay, the worse it’s gonna get. The longer you stay, harder it gets to leave. You are not responsible for his mental problems. He has to learn to deal with that himself, or else it’s not gonna be good for him either. For the sake of you and him, leave!!

Please walk away now. What he’s doing may seem small to you but he’s testing your limits and it’s definitely going to turn into serious abuse. Love is honestly not supposed to hurt or confuse you this much.
