i just got home from my first jam session, it was only an hour long cause the other guy that was supposed to show up got sick and couldnt make it (rip honestly). it was still a good time nonetheless. so far its pretty chill, the guitarist and i just kinda did some warm ups to get a feel for each other and i think im getting a bit of a hang of what hes looking for (more garage punk-ish feel with a bit of post grunge) even tho my preferred vocal range is in a different genre (slam and death metal), but i think him and i can make something work. hopefully next week we can have another session, i should def write some material but idk what of tbh, if anyone has any ideas def lmk!! im super excited to see where i can go with this, but i def got some practice to do on my own time
