2006 Again (but in a good way)

You know, I never did the blog thing on MySpace. I think I just posted cryptic FOB lyrics. Maybe even just as bulletins, who knows. At any rate, we're gonna take a little trip back in time since I've just registered for classes for the first time in over a decade. Might as well compare a little.

In 2006 I was in college for the first time, had no idea how to be a human (let alone an adult), had a job in a print store making like four bucks an hour, and was living away from home for the first time. I had just started really getting into PC gaming (thanks Fable, Guild Wars, and  Civ III).

In 2025 I am in college for the third time (that's the charm), am still winging it on most things, make way more than four bucks an hour, and have definitely still kept up the gaming thing. That might be the only consistent. 

But I guess the main difference between then and now is I actually feel pretty good about the school thing. I was definitely not a positive person back then. Negative as all hell actually, but looking back at the old DeadJournal, I don't remember who any of those posts were about. I was feeling prettty strongly at the time but clearly none of that stayed.
