I’m bored asf so I’m gonna yap. Topics: pokemon, my experience with reading beastars, artblock, just random thoughts, languages, thoughts on some digital horrors. Hope those topics captured ur attention wink wink ;) btw maybe I’ll make a layout for this entry, but I can’t guarantee that. 

Pokémon!!!

Sooo some time ago I downloaded Pokémon fire red ROM hack and gba emulator on my computer and I really like this game even if it’s older than me if I remember correctly :) currently I’m trying to make my meowth evolve. Btw can I catch pikachu simply in grass or do I have to look for it in specific locations? BTW GUYS IMPORTANT QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE BEST AND FUNNIEST NAMES YOUR POKEMONS EVER HAD? I’m really curious because I usually name my pokemons with something like “fart”, “bastard”, “asscracker”, “toxicfart”, “lilshit” etc.

Beastars manga!

Sooo I usually read it once a month or once a year because usually some plot twist pisses me off and I ragequit. Or I just lose interest. BUT HELL THAT SHIT IS SO DEEP I CANT. !SPOILERS! When Legoshi and Haru had a freaky moment (after this dumbass dropped out from school already) I thought that things gonna get very freaky, but I ended up depressed because Legoshi ended up thinking that he ate her. Deep topic kinda. And aside from shyness their freaky moment was more intimate romantically than sexually. Liiike they increased trust and became closer to each other. And beastars is just hella deep how tf Paru manages to put so many deep topics into one manga. And the world is very well-written. I have beastars OCs, but I doubt I can even write their lore properly and deeply because I don’t have enough knowledge (I didn’t finish the manga yet). Btw Gohin is such a father figure I hope he’ll reappear later in manga. Also Legoshi’s character development seems endless, like even after going through some shit he’s still a dumbass but less of a dumbass and the cycle repeats he still has lessons to learn. HOW TF HES SO YOUNG AND PERFECT AT THE SAME TIME. I kinda get why people simp him actually.

Artblock

I’m going through it rn. I can only draw stupid effortless sketches that I’m not satisfied with. Also I’ve got gamedev burnout kinda, but I’m getting out from it already I think. Maybe I’m being too hard on myself because my requirement for MY art is that it has to have some deeper meaning and/or be the expression of strong emotions. The lack of income from selling adopts also makes me like drawing less. I even try to make stupid stamps and blinkies meaningful and cool. Doing art to mess around brings me barely any satisfaction, but when I wanna make something cool it brings me -100000 amount of satisfaction because I never enjoy the result. And sometimes drawing feels too long for me. Like I can sit and color digital piece with BASE COLORS for HOURS. It’s exhausting asf

Random thoughts

Imho there’s no point in trying to force someone’s opinion on yourself just because you like that person. Your social circle always changes as well as the society itself, and if you’re that type of person who wants to avoid controversy and judgement you better stfu tbh (no hate), but if you’re ready to defend your opinion FORM YOUR OWN AND GET JUDGED FOR IT INSTEAD OF STEALING SOMEONES OPINION AND REGRET IT YEARS LATER. I’ve experienced that and daaamn I felt so dumb.

Languages

Just so yknow my first/native language is Russian, but I also know English and a bit of Japanese. How tf did I learn English? I just watched English LPS videos when I was 5 and didn’t understand shit in English except knowing that red color is called red. Also I played a lot of Roblox which made me smarter than my classmates in English. And I just consume lots of English media actually. Btw I’m on English class rn being all nerdy. Btw I learn Japanese without taking any free/paid lessons. I just listen to music, read and use websites to learn kanji. Also I sing karaoke jp songs when I’m alone at home sometimes. Some useful resources for learning Japanese that I use: kanjialive.com, kakimashou.com, studykanji.net. 

Digital horror

I think everyone already know about Laceygames so I’m not even gonna explain it much. BUT. My fav digital horrors/args: miltonmathgames, GEB OS, petscop, 3D workers island, shipwreck 64. I think that’s it. I get that mascot horror is a bit overused??? but it still can be good. I don’t really understand people who criticise everything and check every pixel and every millisecond of audio just to say that this piece of art sucks ass. Horrors are more about shittin your pants after seeing some goofy image/sound appear too suddenly. Also I’m more into psychological horror kinda thing that isn’t about just “AAAA THIS MONSTER IS GONNA EAT ME”

That’s it I think. Btw I just realised that the pride month is very soon wtf why did the time pass so fast.
