Why mizuki akiyama from pjsk is a trans girl
I will call mizuki by she/they pronouns for this
I wanted to make this since I have seen many people, transphobic or not, saying that mizuki is a feminine cis male who like to wear dresses (which is completely okay), cis female (again completely okay!) or a a trans male who still want to keep wearing dresses and being cutesy (again it’s completely okay). Even someone I know irl (not friends) said that mizuki is a feminine boy. I can almost hear people saying “m-m-m-mizuki’s classmates, student an and b, call mizuki by he/him pronouns!! 👉👈😣” uhm well guess what. The whole purpose of the Mizu5 event was to show mizuki’s struggles as a trans girl and that’s why student a and b call them by he/him pronouns, since they represent transphobia/transphobic people. Another statement I see from people to explain why they think mizuki is a boy is that she is voiced by a male actor. But guess what, other characters get voiced by the opposite gender. Also mizuki in the flashbacks is seen in more masculine clothing until high school, which is when they did a whole 360 and suddenly started to dress more feminine clothing and grew her hair out. Also mizuki’s character information does NOT include her pronouns, hinting that it is going to be discovered or that she is not cis, deleting the possibility of being a cis male or female. She also cannot be a crossdresser since Otonoko ( a Japanese term used for a man wearing ‘feminine’ clothing) is already normalized and Mizuki would not need to hide it from Ena and others in mizu5. And for people who say “b-but Mizuki uses Boku pronouns in Japanese and that is used by b-boys!!”, Boku is not a strictly masculine pronoun, it’s just a more tomboyish/cooler way of saying, meaning every gender can use it. Also , during middle school , she wore the boy uniform, not girl, meaning she is not a cisgender woman. Another thing in middle school is that she covered her mirror with a cloth, indicating that she experienced gender dysphoria, cross dressers do not experience that. She also had a massive reaction to student an and b misgendering her and calling her by he/him pronouns, again, no cisgender or crossdressers experience that. Istg I can hear people saying “but it isn’t cannon! If it isn’t cannon it’s okay to make head canons! You are just bullying us, everyone can have different opinions you bully!!!” But guess what, implied = cannon. Yes you are allowed to make head canons . Like for example me, I head canon Mizuki using she/they pronouns .But thinking that Mizuki is cisgender or a crossdresser is strictly transphobic even if you don’t intend to be. The only thing I accept for Mizuki is being a trans girl or/and being non binary. Thank you for reading, i know that i probably repeated a lot of statement and my grammar/spelling sucked (due to English not being my first language) I hope I convinced you to believe that Mizuki is a trans girl, if not, you are just ignorant. Byeee!!
