It’s obvious that Teru likes Akane. I know what you are thinking. Teru told/implied that he likes Aoi to Akane, right? But no, it wasn’t genuine, he told that to Akane so that he would get scared and comply with what he wants which is to make a competition on who can get the higher marks in the test. IT WAS JUST TO SCARE HIM. “But Teru keeps hurting Akane!!” The non-terukane shippers say. And my answer to that is, Teru doesn’t know how to show his emotions very well.  This is why he has a ‘fake persona’ around others. He is also an exorcist, the thing he is best at doing is hurting others/harming them. And that’s why he chose that route to show/hide his emotions. He also made akane SPECIAL glasses so that he can act like he has a normal life. I don’t think that’s very straight behavior since your whole entire life’s purpose is getting rid of supernaturals, half supernatural or full, it doesn’t matter you are suppose to exorcise them. But you decide to not exorcise AND help a half supernatural, and may I add teru supposedly ‘hates’ akane. Not very straight behavior. Teru also interrupts RIGHT when aoi and akane are about to kiss, perfect timing. Hmmm, I wonder why, maybe because he doesn’t want akane to kiss Aoi. “B-b-b-b-but Teru didn’t do it on purpose it was coincidental!! 🥺” well yes there might be a possibility that the statement is true. But he could have just waited until they kissed to interrupt. But no, he didn’t. Almost like he didn’t want them to kiss. Thank you for reading, i know that i probably repeated a lot of statement and my grammar/spelling sucked (due to English not being my first language, I hope I convinced you to believe that terukane is a good/best ship, if not, that’s your opinion and this is just shipping. Having different ship opinions is okay. Edit: heyyy, I’m back to add more statements. One of them is the Valentine’s Day Teru and Akane sketch/drawing. In there Akane gives Teru chocolates, saying that “it’s half filled with my hatred). You might be like “but Jane, it literally says hatred this can’t be evidence for terukane”. Well it’s only “half” filled, not fully, meaning there is something else. And what can that be? Love, it’s love
