Obviously, How you treat musicians, celebs, influencers, public figure or EVEN A FUCKING POLITICIAN.
You can't even deny the fact that you idolize that person that much, or how you adored them. And I'm starting to become aware that this is extremely toxic, and I'm asking why this is so extremely normalized. You're worshiping a human being, or better yet, ruining their career because you can't handle their flaws, and on the other hand, you defend a criminal when they're SUPPOSED to be put behind bars. Why is that? Because they're your god... Or how you preferred them as your mommy/daddy, spouse, and your friend.
It's fucking weird, and I can't believe I'm part of that... And that's why I'm not a fan of MCR or ANY bands that associate with a huge fucking fanbase anymore. I can't go to a fanbase where they talk crying about their ships didn't do exactly what they wanted to happen, or they're not their wife or their husband. And that's the issue with them, of being delusional, I can't blame them all, but reality should be knocking at their door. Always remember that not everyone is special, including disabled people. It's the same as we're not perfect.
And your "God" is one of them.
Treat anyone just as human as they actually are. They aren't your deity, and you shouldn't be devoted to your life to them. Just simply admire their talents rather than stalking them 24/7.

Not everyone that "fangirls" is like this. Some people just hyperfixate on bands, musicians, shows, movies, etc. and those people can't control how excited they are when talking about a celebrity or when when that celebrity makes a big accomplishment. Although you are correct that some people take it too far, it's not "fangirling" as a whole that's the issue, it's just some of the people that are like this.
Also a lot of people (especially in certain fandoms) when they call someone their boyfriend/girlfriend/partner they're joking and, they make it very clear that they're joking.
Fr... I get your point, ppl can't control themselves when they see their idols in public. But they should know the basic boundaries... That's only acceptable than being creepy.

In general idolisation has become a huge problem and not only in the music or film industry, but especially on social media, because for example what I've noticed with some content creators I used to watch is that they don't make the same jokes they were once beloved for in their back then, yet small community and started to take a careful approach to what they're saying once they've grown a bigger following to meet the expectations of their fans and "fan girls". One example I can think of which isn't this exact problem but falls into this direction would be dreams face reveal, since he was a big faceless YouTuber/streamer and his fans held high expectations of what he looked like and then many were extremely underwhelmed with it, even though he just looks like a regular guy (who to be fair has like a new controversy every week)
Definitely couldn't agree more... There's a lot to talk abt the fandom society... But I simply digress.

I should talk more abt degenerate fandoms. Not just a fan of an actor/musician. But also things associate with fictional characters as well. Don't get me started with MHA
