Last month my brother in law fell down the stairs to our cellar and before I could tell him he couldn’t sue my landlord because its in the lease he couldn’t be held responsible he decided to sue my landlord and my land asked me about it and I told him I put a stop to it because I did then.
Then the day after Valentines day my pipes froze because of how cold it got the following day my pipe busted I notified my landlord immediately hoping it would get fixed (I was wrong).
That Saturday I got a notice to quit from my landlord saying I have till March 19th at 8am to be out of the house or they would call the cops and have them evict me 🤦🏼♀️ nothing can ever go right and as of today it has been one week since the pipe busted and the landlord still has yet to fix it.
But the bright side is I have already found a new house just have to wait for my fiancé to get paid so we can pay the rent and deposit and then we are free from the slum lord.
