Wee bands

It’s a fucking tragedy how many bands from the 2000s made 1 ep/album and then seemed to do nothing after. Death in December is the worst culprit. Their ‘a beautiful tragedy’ album was absolutely fucking incredible, my favourite song being ‘chemistry and heartache’ absolute banger tune. Idk why they never released anything after, like, I get it was 2006 and everyone with a fringe and a MySpace was creating a band but like, they were so good. Another I absolutely love is an evening at elmwood. They released an ep and then a album back in 08. What’s weird is they’ve been rising in Spotify listeners for ages now lol. Since like 2022 they’ve went from barely over a couple thousand to fuckin 30k monthly listeners #bringbackelmwood dude I love them. Sad we don’t get bands like that anymore. Closest I’ve seen so far is ashes at last who are pretty much Asking Alexandria, but actually American.
