Green Day album: Warning

Released on October 3, 2000 as Green Day's sixth album it is one of my personal favorite albums being one of the first to listen to besides American idiot! Listened to this album a long time ago (have most of the songs in my playlist) and decided to rank the songs for funsies, no lyrical or rhythmic analysis for the placement lol just personal opinion :P

1. Misery - Most experimental out of this album and my personal fav, definitely not everyone's favorite off this ablum. Reminds me a little of the album "Pretty Odd" by P!ATD which is probably why i have more bias towards this one

2. Church on Sunday - Originally one of my least favorites off this album (idk why) has turned into one of my favs! very catchy to the point i could listen to it for hours-

3. Blood, Sex, and Booze - Was my fav for the first listen of this album, can't put it down any lower because its rlly good in my opinion 

4. Waiting - Didn't think too much of this song at first but after listening to it more and more i understand why a lot of fans enjoy this one, might be controversial to put it this low but with each listen i like it more and more 

5.  Fashion Victim - Sounds more punk which is what i LOVE, rlly catchy honestly had a hard time not putting it higher

6. Minority - Most popular song off this album, you mightve heard this before and it lives up to the expectation of being catchy and upbeat, easy listen!

7. Macy's Day Parade - This was above waiting at first and slowly went down the list but its still a personal fav, slower green day songs are a bit harder for me to get in to which is why its a bit lower, good ending to the album

8. Castaway - I REALLY want to like this song, i do, but the chorus is annoying me to so its just a hard listen. Definitely a controversial opinion bc a lot of people like this song off Warning but for the life of me i just cant get behind this one

9. Hold on - Beginning of this song is rlly fun, harmonica bits arent my fav tho and this song would be up a lot higher if they werent so long

10. Warning - OMG THE NAME OF THE ALBUM!!!!! Its ok, the beat is catchy but its repetitive to me and just doesnt compete with the other songs here, good opening to the album tho

11. Deadbeat Holiday - Same deal as warning, pretty catchy and its a fun listen but isnt making it up any higher

12. Jackass - I like this song! but compared to the others on this album it lacks something unique, just a bit too basic to be anything special but the sax solo is fun
