Excellent Day Yesterday

I'm writing before I have to go  to work but omg yesterday was one of the best days I've had in a little while!

I woke up and drove to meet up with my grandparents for brunch at Ihop, had a really good burger and milkshake. After that I hung out with my mom a bit and went home. Didn't I was gonna do anything past that so I was ready to check out for the day (this was at like 2 pm). But then, I got a call from my friend saying he needed someone to work the lights for his sketch comedy show on campus!

I get all dolled up and head over, really simple lighting setup, just a singular LED panel that I flipped on and off, but I guess you could call me a tech girl ヾ(￣▽￣) It was a really funny show too! They'll probably post the sketches to YouTube at some point so all ya'll should check out UGA's Shark Wing! I'm more than likely gonna be auditioning for them next semester too since a lot of the older members are graduating this semester.

After the show was over I went back to my friends apartment where there was a bunch of friends I hadn't seen in forever. We sat around, got high, ate pizza and watched Jubilee videos - Don't ask I wasn't in charge of the remote. That eventually ended after my friend kicked us out cause he was oh so sleepy after doing the show. From there I was planning to go home, but then I got a text from a couple other friends saying they were heading downtown to drink...Sooooooooo....(｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ

Downtown was alot of fun as well! I got to meet so many people who were friends of friends - It's crazy how many people just know eachother in the queer/rave community in Georgia. We were sat outside the bar just shooting the shit, a friend bought me a PBR and I kept bumming cigs and vapes off people. This really cool homeless guy came up and dapped us all up, then for some reason some lady came up and started hugging and grabbing on him...?

But ANYWAY! After hanging out for a while we tried to go to a local gay bar to see a drag show, but the motherfuckers were carding and I don't have a fake (╬▔皿▔)╯ So that's when I called it a night, went home around 2 in the morning and went to sleep naked with my makeup on.

Nights like last night remind me why life is so worth living, thank God for everyday! Don't drink and drive!
