This piece I made for my final art gcse exam!! I used felt pens and watercolour paints. I first sketched everything out, then using light watercolours I painted over the sketch with the general gradient I wanted to use, which was orange to blue going top left to bottom right. Then I thought about how the gradient colours would alter the base colours of the character and the environment, and used the felt pens to add the colours. I then later went in with a more concentrated watercolour paint and added some lightning and shadows and blend everything together.
