I'm really curious as to where y'all from and what your country's culture is. I was literally just laying in bed, and went 'Oh... PEOPLE EXIST RIGHT NOW ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD DOING SOMETHING AND LIVING AND MAYBE THEY'RE EVEN ON SPACEHEY TOO AND I'M NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD AND AH THIS IS SO COOL AND ALSO GIVES ME EXISTENTIAL DREAD BUT IT'S MOSTLY COOL, CUZ I GET TO LEARN ABOUT OTHER PPL AND OTHER WAYS OF LIVING', so nw I'm typing this :D
I'm from the Netherlands, a better version of Belgium. Some cultural highlights are our language, which is beautiful and very easy to learn, especially if you don't speak any Germanic or Romance languages. It's called Dutch, but it's not Deutsch (German), but it's from the Netherlands (Holland). EXCEPT IT'S NOT HOLLLAND. IT'S THE NETHERLANDS. HOLLAND CONSISTS OF 2/12 PROVINCES. Foreign people love pronouncing our 'G', especially the one they use in the northern parts of our beautiful language. We're also basically Atlantis, because we're under the sea level for a big part. We also love the color orange, because there was a guy 'Willem van Oranje' or Willem of Orange. Notice how his last name says 'orange'? That's a color. Also, no one wears wooden shoes anymore, if that is what you thought of when you read 'the Netherlands', not good. Let's skip history for... convenience. OH ALSO, we had New York at some point, which is why it used to be called New Amsterdam. But we traded it for Suriname for the same reason we're gonna skip history. Also, the Netherlands is a really cool place, but don't go to the big cities, it's just noise and weed. The rest is pretty cool :D

I’m from Estonia! But I’ve been living in Belgium nearly all my life (on the French side however, so vraag mij niet aan het Nederlands praten lol)

hi ! im from Australia. Our culture is very unsophisticated, we have 'eshays' (teenagers who think they're too cool when theyre really just drug addicted nuisances) and 'bogans' (people who are too australian to function). we have a very alchoholic and laid-back culture, and swearing is the norm. we like to abbreviate our words and use a lot of slang terms. a stereotype about australia is that it's crawling with spiders and snakes and other dangers, which is partially true but not to the extent that it's often portrayed in the media. we also don't say 'chuck a shrimp on the barbie' lmao. we call shrimp 'prawns'. i live in a small town so my experience might differ from city people but that's my interpretation of aussie culture !
That kinda sounds like the state of the Netherlands right now, especially in the bigger cities and among the younger generations!
