new era of vocaloid

I don't really like how the vocaloid community got infected with this "microtrend era" of the internet. 

Let me explain...

So, you probably noticed how every single thing on every single apps becomes a "trend" that lasts like two days before people move on to another thing. It's mostly seen on tiktok -  in fashion, memes and even art trends. All these things are supposed to be fun but how are you supposed to enjoy them when they get replaced right away? 

Well I feel like the same thing is going on in the Vocaloid community ever since Mesmerizer blew up. Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY love this song and the mv.

What sorta bothers me is how everyone is trying to be the next Mesmerizer, using Miku and Teto, making the same repetitive chorus/dance and hiring the same animator - in hope of maybe get clicks for a week or so. 

It's either that or they make songs with really, REALLY weird themes. In an attempt to ragebait, I guess.

Nobody cares about making songs anymore, they only want temporary and easy fame, always reusing the same recipe. I know there are surely unknown producers that make creative songs out there, but as I said they are unknown.

I am not saying the old vocaloid fandom was better AT ALL. There were some pretty fucked up shit back then too, and worst of all was that it was super normalized. 

I guess I just want to hear new stuff that don't always include Teto and Miku... I miss Luka and Gumi :'( and creepy vocaloid songs!!

I know it's not that deep and it's probably a non issue or whatever but I just wanted to rant about it and see if anyone thinks like me or if I'm just a hater T_T
