[SNL] 4/26/25

tonight's show was just a re-air of 1/25, where timothee chalamet hosts and performs!!! so i'll talk about it today because im slightly insane.

okay i might be shallow but this episode is very funny. ignoring all the way-too-political sketches, i very much enjoy modern snl. i don't think it's as bad as people say, though i certainly prefer 70s snl,,,

highlights of this episode were chalamet's bob dylan covers, weekend update (as always), the dogs sketch, and, my holy grail of this episode, the coffee shop sketch. chalamet has incredibly funny delivery and timing, and i absolutely believe he needs to take up more comedy opportunities. adam sandler was there. lin manuel miranda was there. idk man.. this ten to one sketch was batshit insane as always. "your twink boyfriend farted me back to life." i love love love ten to one sketches, they're always an absolute drug trip.

michael longfellow is always such a treat to watch, as well as kenan thompson, mikey day, marcello herdandez, bowen yang, and everyone else in the cast. i love seeing this group of talented young comedians. i've always loved snl for that. it's always such a reflection of the time period, good and bad.

i will chat again next week, for a new episode with quinta brunson and benson boone. byeee gang!
