Hello! I'm quite an avid forsaken player. I normally play Noob or Chance, but I also dabble in Taph nestmaking /silly
yes i started trying to write this professionally but idgaf
So - I'm starting writing this before the rework comes out, and I'll finish and post it when it does!
I have some mixed opinions on this rework. It isn't horrible - I just don't know if I like it as a concept. I enjoy that two time will be more useful quite a lot. I would love to enjoy playing them - they're my second favorite character in the lore! - but in their current state, the gameplay isn't enjoyable. sure, they get a second life and such, but still. they have nothing else going for them. this is why i'm excited for the rework! however, i don't think them being a stunner makes sense to me. it feels like theyre (staff) are leaning to far into their past, while i feel that - even though it is clear the cult is still quite effective on two time - it will only worsen public's view of them. while devs/staff might be aware of how to respectful treat the topic of the spawn cult, the fandom does not have this awareness. to simply give them a moveset that entirely references one of the worst parts of their life is something i dont agree with. it also lessens the amount of survivalists in game, which is disappointing. two time was an interesting character to play for me because i struggle in support and defense roles, but i am quite good at gens and such. to simply reduce it back down to Noob and n7 only is disappointing, seeing as we have many supports and stunners.
my main ick is that it seems their new moves are simply just. "ooo thats what two time did to azure" or whatever. which is just severely disappointing. they had a chance to give them some more depth or something, but didn't.
now, below is my post-update thoughts. obviously i will be playing two time to test the gameplay before i give opinions. i can only hope the gameplay is fun enough for me to set aside my issues with it.
okay! hi, its me, post update. now i dont enojy the update, but most of my hate comes from a hatred of change. if i pretend hard enough Ttime is a new character, theyre actually really fun! i dont know how i feel about the new maps yet though. now, dont jump me for not knowing their names, its hard for me to remember. but the one with two sections, the up and down one? i dont like that one much. its very large, and its easy to mistake sounds from above/below you as sounds around you. given how i largely naviagte the game is via sound, its a bit upsetting.
i do REALLY like the weeping skin for twotime, and im shocked how easy their new moveset is to pick up! however, i dont agree wiht the new starter addictions. elliot and sheds are the worst two options for starters, in my opinion. noob was a good one, and, shockijngly i tihk twotime would be as well. but sheds and elliot? the hard to succeed with and the commonly targeted? horrid choice i think. im aware it was community pools bt jeez. i still miss having srvivalist twotime, but i dont hate everything as much as i expected so far.

I hate how people only see two time as what happens in their lore, same for azure. Both are much more than that - it’s like the Anya from Mouthwashing thing again.
