Algebraic fractions ✅✅✅✅✅        |

Angles.         ✅✅✅✅                  |

  • all triangles have angles that add up to 180 ,( in a equilateral trisngle all angles = 60 degrees)
  • angles on a straight line add up to 180
  • angles around a point add up to 360
  • angles in a quadrilateral add up to 360
  • gcse ko pg 48 , 36-37 !!!
  • angles around parallel lines : 2 bunchs of angles r formed. - 2 diffrent ACTUAL angles (a and b) VERTICALLY opposing angles r equal.
  • ---------------
  • THESE SHAPES HAVE MATCHING ANGLES !! (1st anf second angle are both a)
  • ALTERNATE (z shaped) AND CORRESPONDING ANGLES ( F shaped , with the longest line in the f tilting , like "F" - please note it is the NOT the angles that that facing each other, but rather "mirroring" each other and can NOT "see" each other.  ,)
  • -----------------
  • allied angles are the ones that can "see" eachother, in a "C" or "U" shape, with sharp edges instead of curves. the allied angles add up to 180 , a+b=180 DEGREES
  • --------------------

Changing the subject of an equation ✅✅✅ |

Construction.      💔            |

Cumulative frequency.   |

Direct proprtion.     ✅✅✅✅       |

  • y∝x , y=kx !! so x times k equals y.
  • k is ALWAYS the same.
Equating coefficients. ✅✅✅   |

  • 𝑎𝑥+𝑏=3𝑥+2 ,
  • so a=3 as they have the same "ending" (x) which means b HAS to be 2.
  • as ax = 3x cancel out leaving us with b=2.
Error intervals ✅✅✅✅✅✅.      |
  • Identify the place value: 0.1 (1 decimal place)
  • Calculate the interval: 0.1 ÷ 2 = 0.05.
  • Find the lower bound: 8.2 - 0.05 = 8.15.
  • Find the upper bound: 8.2 + 0.05 = 8.25.
  • Express as an inequality: 8.15 ≤ X < 8.25.
  • Factorisation                  |

    Forming and solving equations✅✅✅|

    Graphing inequalities.✅✅✅ |

    • y<mx+c or y>mx+c PLUS C IS WHERE IT HITS THE Y AXIS!!!!
    • y> , y is MORE than, so you shade ABOVE the line.
    • y< , y is LESS than so you shade BELOW the line.
    • y≥ OR y≤ means y is more/less than or EQUAL TOO. in this case the line will be BOLD. think about it as going OVER the line AGAIN because there TWO pieces of infomation.
    • y> OR y< means its just MORE/LESS - in this case the line is DOTTED. as there is only ONE piece of infomation so you dont go over it AGAIN. only once - not twice.

    Indices                ✅✅✅         |

    • yˣ - y to the power of x.
    • ----- FRACTIONAL INDICES!!!!!!
    • y¹/² = √ y - why? because we SQUARE by the TOP number - think the square operation is the "positive" one and the positive stuff is at the "top" - assoicate the words of pos/up/first tg.
    • so it would be y¹ , which is y. so now we have /2 which is 2 root. so we get root y. simple!
    • soooo 25³/² would be 25 cubed (= 15625) now root SQUARE that bc of the /2. , you'd get 125.
    • ------ NEGATIVE INDICES!!!!!
    • y-⁻ˣ = 1/yˣ SOOOO
    • 3-⁻² = 1/3² = 1/9th !!!
    • note- u can MIX N MATCH FRACTIONS N NEGITNVES!! BE CAREFUL!!

    Percentages     ✅✅✅✅            |

    • standard facts as its a NON CALC paper (donr worry about converting to a decimal and multiplying)
    • 10% of anything is a 1/10th of it (divide by 10)
    • 5% is 1/2 of 10%
    • doubling a number is increasing (ADDING!!! ) by 100%!!! (25 + 100% = 50) as 25 IS 100%!!!
    • BUTTTTTTT!!  25 X 100%=25 as 100% in THAT case is refering to 1 (100/100 = 1) when you a multiplying you are "unlocking the division", hence to why you have to take to account the %.)

    Probability - tree diagrams.      ✅✅ ✅   |

    • bc its a diagram its horrible to try to show it on a text format , but i know you (i) know what i'm on about ,
    • "3 red dice 2 blue dice in a sack" chance to pick out one
    • 3/5RED and 2/5BLUE
    • i pick out one and KEEP it, and do it again, propbliltjy?
    • 3/5 RED 1st round leads toooo...
    • 2/4 chance of getting blue 2ND ROUND !!
    • 2/4 chance of getting red 2ND ROUND!!
    • Alternatively, 2/5 blue leads toooo...
    • 1/4 chance of getting blue
    • 3/4 chance of getting red
    • multiply the branches across to get the end probabilities!!
    • e.g prob of getting red then blue is..
    • 3/5 (first time) TIMES (X) 2/4 (2nd time) = 6/20 DONR SIMPLIFUYY!!!

    Ratio                            |

    • 3:7 = 3/10 or 7/10

    Solving linear equations

    \(6x+5=14\an

    Standard form             |

    Surds                           |

    Transformations - enlargements

    Vectors✅✅✅.                         |

    • the find the pathway stuff
    • b mindful if "x" js a part of a line or the WHOLE line , opposing the line means -x as u r AGAINST it. NEGATIVE!!
