look man,i love skateboarding however however it fucking sucks man. Like it just makes me want to cry and scream into a pillow hoping i will become better.
And first thing i hate about is it fucking hurts so bad, like it doesn't matter ho good you are you will eat shit anyway. Skateboarding hitting your shins, your hips bruised, your palms and wrist begging you to stop skating. Like there is no way that those cool ass skaters are sober and can take all of those slams no problem like how tf do they do that.
The second thing is doing tricks, this is like hate love relationship because it is amazing when after trying for months you finally land a trick but omfg you have to go through TORTURE. Like literally you will spend months, hours everyday just to flip your board in a cool way underneath your legs. And after falling on your face for hours you see a 11yo kid pulling up the trick without any fucking problem like you are sweating balls, maybe bleeding if you are skating on some terrible ahh ground and then the kid just spawns and do the trick first try.
The third thing that pisses me of is when people that don't skate tell you how to skate like, "skateboarding its just pushing and jumping" hell nahhhh. Skateboarding humbles your ego when mid-push you eat shit because you didn't see the tiniest barely visible pebble on the ground.
But those few things (because there is more) make this sport worth trying because when you finally land a trick the high its so good, like the feeling its better than sex like frfr for that one second you just feel like the coolest guy in the world only to wake up sore on the next day.
But yeah skating is like hate/love rollercoaster it hurts asf, makes me want to cry, makes me throw my board (i regret that, and im too broke to buy a new one) but even thought all of those things its fucking amazing.
