post-it-note prose

I was recently asked what I believe in.

When I zoom out and see the fractals that make up the fibre of my being, after a quick thought, I realized that the wind that blows past and through me every day is my belief for life. I seemingly always stood for life and the smaller things that integrate into it. The junk and the leaves, and things our eyes brush over daily. Oh, what a beauty.

A young version of me whispered my worries to "Mother Nature" more than the adults who stood feet above and years ahead. The smaller things felt the closest to me. I admired them because I was them. I was curious, reaching toward the sun, and thriving above my own bedrock.

As I've grown older, I've heard the whispers of nature no less, and while life poses not all song and dance at times, Im still appreciative of all ranges of emotion because I feel lucky to be alive.

Abundance: A very large quantity of something...a meditation I've repeated to myself in matrimony with breath, with the idea that when looking for love and light it can be found anywhere. While I may not talk to Mother Nature herself, I non-verbally share a greeting or compliment with nature at times.

And thats what I stand for because thats what im here for.
