As you like to say

But everytime you're mad

It is you I fear…

Because God 

is a sympathetic, forgiving and patient Father 

All that you are not 

Yelling, screaming and cussing

When the ones you disrespect

Don't give you their courtesy 

You, so arrogantly, demand

But respect isn't given, it is earned 

Not a single "sorry" 

has ever left your mouth

Not even a thought 

That you might be wrong 

It's me

It's always me 

It is always I, who's in the wrong 

There must be something wrong with me

Because I'm not obedient 

like you want me to be

I should trust your judgement, you say

Your pride is twice as tall as you are

You think you're following 

The Word of God

But are you really?

Only sometimes I wish
