this is so silly!!

i strongly dislike how older men (or women but most commonly men) will comment under every single green day post "green day sucks" or some mindless ramblings about how punk is too political as if back in the 80s and 90s punk bands were still anti-government so it just seems really pointless to me to complain about something thats so insignificant. another thing that rubs me the wrong way is how some people are so obsessed with harassing fans of green day on tiktok with maga propaganda as if thats.. gonna do anything.. and like its just so sad that people have to go out of their way to enforce their beliefs on everyone because like i dont like the government and all but im not gonna spew in someones face actual nonsense to convince them to see what i believe in. yes people have their rights to vote for whatever politician they want and blah blah blah but one thing you arent gonna do is push a convicted felon on me when ive made it clear that i dont support his actions.. like what.. its the same with religion. most christians these days are obsessing over sin and gay marriage and whatnot (i am a christian myself but im not.. extreme,, i just settle on believing in hell and heaven and god and whatever, again im not one of these sin obsessed people) when in reality gay marriage doesnt even affect you its, again, absolutely pointless. you cant act like youre free of sin because youre not, everyone lies, right? so whats up with all this new nonsense that these top notch christian extremists are pushing on gay people? revisiting my previous statement about green day it also kinda bugs me when people are always obsessively making a huge deal of billie changing song lyrics live, like, billie received a lot of hate from when jesus of suburbia was played at coachella and he spoke up about the whole palestine situation. billie is PERFECTLY allowed to change the lyrics of his own song and if it bothers you so much then maybe you just might be part of the problem because its not bothering anyone else. if you dont agree with someones beliefs then just.. dont engage.. i dont see he point of throwing a hissy fit just because a liberal serves you at woolworths or something. billies not gonna stop what hes doing anytime soon. id also like to mention, im not a big fan of coachella, it was a good festival in its early days but now its just gone to utter waste with all these single use fast fashion outfits and rich influencers that dont even care about the music itself. maybe its just me but i personally would rather a bar gig than coachella. concerts and things are so plagued with phones these days that i dont even blame billie for telling people to put their phones away. anyway,, end of rant
