ANDOR Season 2 is the Best thing to EVER come out of Star Wars

Though We are only 3 Episodes into season 2 of Star wars: Andor, it has already proved itself to be a worth successor to season 1 and i cant wait to see where this Anti-fascist master piece of a show is to go next!

As a child i grew up on the original trilogy like most people and was extremely disappointed to see where the franchise was taken when it was bought over by Disney. Now I never enjoyed the prequels due to their bad writing but the sequel trilogy was so much worse and felt like an unorganized mess (because it was) and then the Tv Shows fumbled EVEN MORE! the use of pointless cameos and reliance of lazy writing tropes made the tv shows un bearable. I can respect a show like Mandalorian but it wasn't a show I was very interested in.

Before Andor Season 1 the best thing Disney made with the Star Wars IP was Rouge one. to this day I believe Rouge one to be one of the BEST star wars movies ever made, and a huge part of that is because of Tony Gilroy who came in and helped with the final act of the movie and it happens to be that the final act is the best part of rouge one. So it was no surprise that they brought back Tony Gilroy to create Andor.

The first season of Andor was something special. I still remember watching it when it was being released and being so excited for each episode and being PISSED that I had to wait a whole week. Andor took Star Wars seriously, it didn't rely on Shitty cameos to make the fans care but creates Characters with deep goals and realistic responses to the world around them. its not a light show and has a message that is so important to real life issues.

Now when it comes to season two, I wont lie I was a little worried that they would tone down the adult themes of the story... WELL I WAS SO WRONG! there are scenes in andor season 2 withing the first 3 episodes that where genuinely so hard to watch because of how horrifying the scene was. The second season adds to the messaging so much and relates to real life situations far more than the first season.

I just want to talk about the scene where Andor gets captured by those rebels. when I first watched it I was confused of the relevance of the scene I believed the constant arguing of the rebels was just some stupid bit that they put in for some silly dynamic. But then it escalated and a shot was fired. From there all hell broke out and these people who where once friends and fighting for the same thing have turned themselves against each other and Andor is stuck in the middle of it. hmmmm this seems familiar... OH WAIT! its exactly like how the left always infight with each other over everything instead of fighting against the far-right who are taking away our rights as we speak!

There is so much I want to say about Andor season 2 from the empire checking for "illegals" and literally just being ICE and the disgusting behavior of these fascist pigs. But I don't want to just write a summary of the show and I STRONGLY encourage you to watch it. Its a show about how someone becomes radicalized to fighting against fascism and it will radicalize you as well.

FuckĀ fascism!
