Drumming is a pain

Fucking neighbours were up my ass about my kit today, saying it’s too loud n shit like my guy it’s fucking 4pm on a summers day go get a fuckin hobby. For context, it’s an electric kit, even I’m not cruel enough to subject them to an acoustic kit but honestly I’m tempted just to spite them. 

Like, I get it, it’s fucking annoying just hearing random thuds suspiciously in time with any and all senses fail songs but the thing is, it’s never been an issue before, I’ve asked them about it when I first got the kit set and they said they couldn’t hear anything SO WHAT THE FUCK CHANGED?! Have they suddenly gained super hearing? Have they always been able to hear it and just never said anything? Cause if so, that’s their fault and they can deal with it. There isn’t a spare room I can just shove my kit into so for now they’re just gonna have to deal with it. Let a guy have a hobby.

I dunno dude. The floor I play on is carpet, I can try putting another carpet on top and see if that changes anything. I know throughout this whole yap paragraph I sound like a condescending prick but it just annoys me that they’ve only now decided to make an issue of it when there’s been absolutely no issues before. I’m just annoyed, it’s been bugging me all day
