hi, my name is mango !! ^_^ (aka mya!) I'm an artist, cloud luvr, and a nature, art history, and cartoon/animation enthusiast..

I'm 24 (march 11th!! + a pisces) and I'm from the US, unfortunately.. lol.. I'm mixed black and white, bosnian on my mom's side (shoutout my fellow balkans and other former yugoslavian friends lol!)
 
I randomly remembered spacehey a few months ago and decided that I actually wanted to check this place out!! I was slightly too young and not very internet savvy to experience myspace or the old forum days (the only website where I ever really interacted with other ppl when I was a kid was deviantart, lol) so this is all pretty new and exciting to me :3 I hope to be active here for a while!! I'm already enjoying it a lot ^_^
 
I wanna use my blog here to post updates about the stuff that I'm workin on. I have a lot of art-related goals, and I've been wanting to make my own website for ages now!! I started learning HTML last year, and the profile customization here will definitely help me learn more HTML lol. (if it isn't obvious by now, I generally learn and work very slowly.. lol)
 
as u can tell I love to YAP but I am shy as hell.. socially anxious, even. that's also something I've been trying to work on lately, just being more social and trying to keep in contact with ppl I already know and make friends with some of my mutuals in other places !! and maybe make some new friends here :3
 
I also have a really deep passion for human rights!! I probably won't post in-depth abt it here (saving whatever essays I wanna write abt it for my own website lol) but I am pretty passionate about uplifting and supporting other marginalized ppl, and fighting against colonialism, imperialism, capitalism, antiblackness, transphobia + homophobia, just oppression in general. if u don't vibe with that, feel free to scroll past or leave my page
 
some other stuff I'm into lately: fashion and interior design youtubers, thinking abt my ocs, and sonic the hedgehog!! especially the sonic IDW comics!!! I recently got into them and they're so fun, plus there are some really good dubs on youtube !
 
also, I got a huge set of ohuhu alcohol markers as a belated birthday gift (ty mom!!) and I'm enjoying them so much!! so I'll probably be posting a bunch of sketches either here or on my tumblr ! (or both!) (and sometimes on bluesky too!)
 
ANYWAYYYS yeah that's basically it for now ^-^ I plan on making more blog posts about my varying interests and stuff I like, bc they shift and rotate a lot and I can't even list all the stuff I like because I fall in and out of interests pretty often!!
