my art teacher wants me to lose my mind

ok before the story heres some context-

my art teacher (mr f) has never put me in the county art show. (hes put in art that's far worse than any of mine- but its not my place to judge art, its subjective) and i always thought "oh well. it'll just mean more my senior year."

SO

last year (junior year) he told me that he was going to put in a drawing of mine. and i was very excited. i had him first semester (the art show is in the spring) so i never really heard anything about it. i ended up asking him and he told me he didn't. but whatever. it'll mean more my senior year, right?

WRONG

so this year i did an enlarged sculpture of a christmas tree cake (yk the little debbie ones) and he told me as i was making it that he was going to put it in the art show. so i worked a lot harder on that than i normally would have. anywayss the art show started this weekend and i hadn't heard anything. so i asked him today in the hallway. yk what he said? its not in the art show. and he KNEW i wanted it to be in it.
