Bit of light

There’s this song I keep playing "Meet Me in the Woods".

Not sure why it stuck, but it makes everything feel a little cinematic.

Like I’m the main character for a while, just running around, noticing things.

And lately, that’s been enough.

A breeze that feels different.

A laugh of her i didn't expect.

Her, even just a glimpse of her smile.

She’s this kind of beautiful that doesn’t need a spotlight.

It’s in the way she exists,

in the way her presence softens everything, even when she doesn’t say much.

Even when we’re both quiet.

She doesn’t always have to do something grand to make me feel better.

Sometimes just knowing she’s there is enough to make me happy.

I still have off days, ofc, we all do.

But I’m learning to find small sparks in them.

And she’s one of them. A huge one. The brightest one

Some things just make the day easier to carry.

And every day, she’s that thing. I love her
