I remember the day in 2020 when I finally said, "Enough!," and began researching web dev. I'd grown rather disillusioned with a social Q&A platform called Ask.FM where you could ask your friend anonymous questions and see their answers back. An entertaining concept, but the execution was a bit botched to me by the end. The natural solution, as they say, is to do it your own way. So I thought, why not? Let's do it!
Four years later, just earlier this month, my three-person team launched Queryous.me, recreating Ask.FM as it looked in 2013-2014 -- hands-down, the site's golden era! And now, we'd like to invite everyone who needs a little more nostalgia in their day on over there.
- We support private profiles, so only approved users can ask and see your answers.
- Dark mode so you don't melt your eyes out.
- The Stream returns! This might've been the one solid motivator for building Q: A simple feed of the newest answers in your area so you can discover new people to ask and stal- er, follow! Ask.FM removed that over a decade ago and that was about when things started going downhill, sadly. I don't think they realized what a fun feature it was. We brought it back! 👍
And a whole lot more! Currently, Q can be used in your desktop and mobile browsers, with development on a native downloadable app currently in progress.
Can we tempt you? Check it out! Queryous.me
