Chappell Roan hate.

I really must know why people dislike Chappell Roan so much? I just keep seeing the same rinse and repeat about the nun costume and her "looking rude and hateful". I can understand being upset about the nun outfit, but she has learned from that and won't be wearing costumes like that anymore. What confuses me though is why do people DIG into her so harshly about it? It frustrates me so badly because her music is really good to me. I relate to it so much and it just comforts my ear drums. People keep bringing up the same reused points without much explanation. Also it's not like she was the first person that was famous in the whole UNIVERSE to wear such a costume like that. People learn from their mistakes and she did too. I just don't understand why so many people can't just LET GO of grudges like that? Not to mention then people get upset when her fans try to protect Chappell? Like if people haven't done that for T-Swift thousand times over. People really need to get their facts straight.
I also hear the point of "She's so ungrateful! She said she doesn't even want to be famous! She should just quit!". It's not her fault if her music made her famous. People like her music it sounds good. How are you going to be upset with her for having a musical talent? She doesn't have to quit doing what she's passionate about just because she said that the celebrity life isn't for her. She can continue creating music and I will listen because it's amazing music. Until there is a REAL reason why she is a bad person I will continue to listen. Until there is people who have actual FACTS and PROOF that she is horrible and disgusting I will continue to listen. Before anyone brings up the election stuff, she voted for Kamala. She is fighting for LGBTQ+ and Trans rights. All she said was to make your own choice. Don't run to a celebrity to make your decision for you. Put on your big boy/girl pants and make up your own mind. There are plenty of news outlets you can go too if you want to learn more about the candidates. So stop running to celebrities to make the choice for you.
This stuff just truly stresses me out.
