Spotify vs YouTube

I was talking to my brother abt this the other day and I keep thinking about it cuz I feel like everyone uses Spotify to listen to music and here I am using tha freakin YouTube app 😭 it’s because I refuse to pay for premium on anything and YouTube’s ads are far shorter than Spotify’s AND you can skip them.

I wish I could have some sort of adblock on my phone, but I at least have adblock on my laptop for both YouTube and Spotify but honestly it kind of sucks on Spotify and it gets stuck and doesn’t go to the song at all 👎

I occasionally want to use Spotify just so I can I guess connect with people more through music but I’m also so embarrassed about my music taste even though I listed it on my profile ummm Watever Lol. Id much rather listen to music on YouTube instead of Spotify but the best deal for me would to just….Download musics into filesssss. And I do but it’s all on my laptop ueghhh

Every time I think of avoiding ads I think of a post I saw that was like “whenever an ad comes on I turn down the volume and cover the screen with a sheet of paper and I cover my ears and shut my eyes. They will not win” it’s good 

Also spotify doesn’t always have the songs I want
