"worship God or burn in hell"

it pains me so much when atheists say "worship God or burn in hell ooooo he's forcing u" and other stuff that just... sounds so wrong about God. i just hope that some atheists who ask not to understand but to argue that they'll finally choose to understand. u dont have to be Christian we dont care at all about whatever u want to be. if you ask questions, you'll get an answer. and sometimes that answer won't match with what you think is right and you have to learn how to deal with it.

its so hard to ignore some atheists like that cs they're just not listening 💔 whenever i see or hear someone say such thjngs i just ignore them cs i might come off wrong and point out the fact that they refuse the answers being given to them. whenever they do that i DO want to give an answer but i just know that atheists like that will never listen

like it really pisses me off 😕 really better to ignore people like that, not only atheists, because they make up whats right in their head and stick with it esp if they've been told many times

Its mainly the bigotry, as an ex fully christian believer (i dont use labels in any kind cause i dont really like the idea of it) i always thought it was that way “you either worship god or you face hell” which terrified me. i kind of sucked it up now. Forcing someone’s antics is fairly wrong and i will never get the idea of the forced conversion. Just a small theory, you can come at me for this but i do not tolerate hate because this is mainly a space for opinions as you can see, but the fact that many kids grew up as christian/catholics (will never be able to differ) and “forced” made them more wise now, i am speaking since im kind of experienced and had a similar situation. I wonder if those kids nowadays are still strong believers or they made up their minds and took a step back by saying “wait.. am i actually a believer or am i forced to be a believer?”. Ohh god i yapped so much i couldn’t make up my mind. Ah yea one thing, i think that forced christians are highly atheists or unlabelled like me due to the forced preaching. Hopefully i didn’t confuse you after this comment because i myself can’t even understand what im trying to point.. lol

as an atheist myself, im glad that you’re saying ‘some’ as all of us aren’t as narrow minded as the people you describe.

I think the reason a lot of atheists think that certain way, is because that’s what so many previously forced on them. as a kid, i grew up in many religious communities and was always told that this ‘loving god’ would make me burn for all eternity if i sinned, unforgiven or simply didn’t believe. it made me terrified, and i questioned if this love was real and if the being giving it was real as well.

but yes, that doesn’t deny the fact that assuming major things like that are true is wrong. the whole view of ‘going to hell cause you’re a nonbeliever’ is simply so common now and in the past that even some atheists refuse to deviate from it. humans seriously cannot leave religion as it was.
