for as stoic he is, i like to think he has little to no emotional awareness and struggles with any strong emotions. thus his panic towards the shrine as that is "irrational" due to the emotional nature of it

but is perfectly fine towards Brandon's death as that has a logical reason he can explain to himself, yet still struggles with the emotional aspect of it all and doesnt understand why. thus the restless and inability to sleep.

during the few times he emotionally breaks down, into sobbing cries, he cannot make a word out at all... only being able to let his raw emotion out, struggling to deal with the strong feelings

angel famous au, i feel like angel would be the type to have their own animated series, but the reason they're so popular iis because its like south park and regular show where the creators (in this case angel) voice some characters in it
