UX design in computing

I’ve been on Linux full-time for a few years now. It’s been great like I cannot complain no big issues other than ones that I caused myself. 

Mind you I was never a Windows user but a Mac user prior and still am for music and other stuff. 

But I’m really not liking the UX exchange in the Linux space. Well computing in general since Windows 8 kind of destroyed everything and made everything solace empty and have no design. Touch did not help the situation either because now everything has to be touched compatible even if your hands and arms don’t work making the system far more annoying this goes for other operating systems as well and mobile phones. 

I really miss when applications were made with actual functionality in mind rather than minimalism and zero heart. It’s really depressing we won’t get that back. I am thankful there are solutions such as Trinity desktop but I wish there were more. There’s no reason both sides can’t exist.  

At the end of it all what I’m getting at is I’m just tired. I don’t even wanna use technology anymore. It’s visually disgusting. And truthfully heartbreaking.

It is the actual reason I love spacehey.
