TW: all about me getting hurt

I was riding my bike from school to kyudo club. I wasn't wearing a helmet, I haven't been for like a month because whenever I do everyone in my class makes fun of me! And when they were making fun of me I was using a black helmet my host family was lending me and then I switched host family and when I asked for  a helmet they gave me a pink flowery one... I don't want to be ungrateful but oh my god I'm not! wearing that in front of a school of teenagers. So anyways I was biking without my helmet on and I saw my friend on the path beside me so I ran my bell and looked back to wave at her. Then I crashed into a pole  ._. 

Luckily the girl I waved at and was there to help me, we called my host family to pick me up. My face and knees are all cut up now and I had a bunch of dirt in the cuts on my face and my knees were bleeding like crazy. Other people in kyudo club started walking past and stopping to help and give me tissues. By the time I left I had an entourage of like 10 people.
