i keep seeing cool people on here esp bvb fans but they never friend request me 😣😣
Oh, the humanity! jk jk. but i keep getting requests from liek, randumzzz...and usually they're like way older than me x.x
right so i'm sitting here, trying to do a math lesson but i keep getting distracted bc I see these profiles that are like...really kewl scene kids that are my age and share a lot of common interestz with me and i'm like..
hello?? hmu?
Anyway, point is i rlllllyyyyy wanna meet other scene girlies on here bc it's so fun having spacehey friends!!! scene kids are not dead in fact we R thriving in 2025 at least i am (except when i get lazy af and look like a basic hoe when i go out DX) . . .

at the same time, the alternative community has lwk gotten so toxic and i don't know who's gonna be kind to me anymore 😭😭 aren't we supposed to be supporting each other??? yk, cuz we were different from other people and needed some friends that are like us?
Idk. could be just me, but i'm really seeing a lack of kindness especially surrounding influential social media alts. always got somethin to hate on. And sure, i get that it might be a part of what you're trying to do, but it makes me sad to see all the hate that's literally everywhere.
Mb I had no idea this would turn into a rant but again i js want y'allz to be good n friendly people, i don't wanna b intimidated necessarily bc i'm scared of some of u 💀
I see way too many people made fun of for how they dress BY THE ALT COMMUNITY? so confused bru- .........
i honestly think people should be able to dress how they want or listen to whatever music they want (which is what i thought everybody thought...?) without having to adhere to specific standards (or being subject to stereotypes). which is primarily the reason i'm scared of labeling myself as 'scene' even though it began AS A POSER CULTURE, copying many aspects of emo. scenemo is the way to go if u wanna meet in the middle of those.

I just like being silly and dressing like it's the 2000s and liking a bunch of stuff from that time period so if ur the same way, hmu!!! I'd luv to chat w/ u :3

i so get this, its like as soon as you call yourself a label ppl call you a poser, tbh ppl just look for anything to pick at and make fun of, but if you just keep doing your own thing you'll find ppl like you to be friends with. i absolutely agree tho its like every person similar to me in terms of style and music is either really sweet or like EVIL/weird/scary and its so hard to tell who is who

that's so awesome!! i've also recently found some incredible people that i can tell aren't like crazed chronically online idiots-and it's a wonderful feeling once u finally find that right community! ^_^

The alt community has ALWAYS had fighting, that’s something that’s never changed. There’s always ethical, religious and band drama. ( fortunately it’s a little less intense irl, but online it’s rampant )
Name a more iconic event in the alt community than a story callout, or beef between people and a singer of a band.
It’s unfortunately a huge part of any scene, but there’s a lot more good people out there than bad! You just gotta find the right ones x3
Thankfully, I've found a good few people (unfortunately mostly online bc there are not a lot of emos where I live) and usually drama always starts when I bring groups of people together, so atm I like to keep it one-on-one. I've found some really sweet people in specific communities, which is great news!! I aspire to be someone that people would want to be friends with, similar to when I see someone cool and want to be their friend. Ik there are definitely some shitty people out there and I've encountered some of them, but the good definitely outweighs the bad in most situations. :P

Thats good! I'm super glad, finding those people to talk to is always the best feeling. Im sure youre 100% a fantastic person and many people out there will want to be your friend, its just a matter of chance and the right place and right time!
