A couple of weeks ago (04/07/25) I went to this huge garden place and they had lots of beautiful displays! I took lots of pictures but these ones came out the best in my opinion. Lmk whatcha think! (Some of the photos may be warped on phone screens!)
This one makes me think of faeries! It's called Oncidium Maculatum, a type of Dancing-Lady orchid!! It is native to Mexico and Central America.
This plant is called Strelitzia Reginae, aka The Bird of Paradise, and it's native to South Africa! It's pretty funky.
These are Freesias, native to South Africa!
These are bonsai trees! These are a Chinese Junipers, Native to East Asia, and (as you can see on the card,) the top tree^ is about 700 years old!
This fiery flower is called Clivia Miniata, or a Bush Lily! They're native to South Africa and Eswatini.
This one is a top favorite of mine, it's a phalaenopsis orchid! More specifically I-Hsin Sesame. This particular type of phalaenopsis doesn't grow naturally, but is cross-bred by humans. In general, phalaenopsis orchid typically grow in the tropical regions of Southeast Asia.
Saved the best for last, these are my favorite photos that I took! These flowers are Meconopsis Grandis, or Himalayan Blue Poppies!! They're native to the Himalayan Mountains, as in the name.
