hi, i wrote a poem, thought i would share it// tw for eating disorders

any feedback is appreciated :) 

fat girls

I know what people say about fat girls,

the girls who sit alone at break,

the girls who dream about the boys who taunts them.

the girls who eat in the bathroom stalls.

I know what people say about fat girls,

so instead I pass my lunchbox out —

only scraps are returned.

I know that it's enough.

and i'll spend half lunch kneeling,

hunched over the toilet seat. 

I know what people say about fat girls,

so when my mother calls me for dinner,

I claim that i don't have an appitite. 

Because I know what people say about fat girls,

so I stay skinny-

and I laugh with the boys who taunt them.
