Easter as a secular holiday (18+)

I was thinking about it earlier today since I've dropped the Cristian label a long time ago whats the point of this holiday I mean for Christians this is the day of ressuraction so we celebrate it by...painting/hiding/hunting eggs and eating chocolate bunnies? (Or coco rabbit's ^^ inside joke i had to include) ok so obviously there's got to be a more secular reason this holiday is celebrated and I think I figured it out I started with the thought process that it's a spring festival and while that's not wrong that's not the end of what Easter is Easter is a spring festival that celebrates fertility don't believe me? We'll let's look at the symbolism first since it was already brought up spring this season Is the season of life when dead plants come back to life and pollinators run rampant next we have the obvious eggs eggs are a symbol of new life after all that's all they are is unborn life next is the funniest symbol is the bunny as a Cristian this actually makes no sense as it's the mascot character and almost seems to be worshipped in a way but in the secular context it makes so much more sense think about it what are bunnies known for aside from *takes a deep breath* being cute, being food, soft hides, jumping, and how messy of pets they are? Let me give you a hint it's the reason play boy used bunnies as their symbol and dress their girls up in bunny outfits even the egg hunt while it might be a little outdated can be seen as a symbol of looking for a mate the only thing about the holiday that doesn't allude to fertility is the copious amount of chocolate we consume for this holiday...or does it? As it turns out chocolate especially dark chocolate is really good for your reproductive health in men it increases the sperm count and in women it improves sexual desire as well as increases the blood flow which helps with things such as ovulation (just one of the many candies we've been lied to about being unhealthy btw I would love to make a blog on that as well but I can only think of 3 off the top of my head 2 of which pretain to oral health) final point apparently (and I just found this out as I was typing this out) Easter gets it's name from the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar she is the goddess of war and sexual love
