The soundtrack of the rawring 20's
I'm gonna keep this next entry short and basically just link a bunch of new scene revival/rawring 20's bands that you guys should check out! It's important to remember that the future of the scene depends on new up-coming artists and not on legacy bands that have been around since 2004 or longer. So go and give these newer bands some support!Β
1. Legendary Baseball Card - Legacies Like Love Lost
2. WristMeetRazor -Β XOXO (Love Letter from a Loaded Gun)
3.Β L'exquisite Douleur - Corpse Party
4.Β If I Die First - Where Needles and Lovers Collide
5. Static Dress - sweet.
6. Bury Your Idols - Jennifer's Revenge
7. ASkySoBlack - What Is Yet To Come? (ep)
8. Since My Beloved - The Sickness Called Despair (ep)
9. SeeYouSpaceCowboy- Misinterpreting Constellations
And that's all! please let me know which one of these is your favorite and if there are any other revival bands that you know of!

I just found them a few days ago actually. The trick is to look for a bunch of spotify playlists labelled as "MySpace revival 2021" and such.

Stealing a line from McKenty, lol. Though that's one of the few points I don't entirely disagree with him on. I just feel like making a scene (or even great bands) is very different with the internet age. I could go on all day about it.
As for the songs, well, it's a decent enough crop for trying to make it, but nothing "really" stood out to me. Though I would say Static Dress (already knew) and L'exquisite Douleur did make good impressions on me. A few others I also liked. I guess we'll have to see what comes out of it.
Sorry if I sound dismissive. I'm not, I just prefer the role of a detached observer. -w-

Is it that obvious that I watch a lot of Punk Rock MBA? lol. I know a lot of people really don't like his takes but I'm just glad that someone cares enough about 2000's scene music to make a bunch of videos documenting it.

Everything must be documented AND! Wikipedia is just the top of the iceberg.
I wonder if the emo scene has something like the metal archives, especially with the amount of detail. I got reminded by wyattxhim that they have a similar artists feature on it, used it for the first time and I got overwhelmed with dozens of new and old similar bands Iβd never heard of immediately by just clicking it on one semi-obscure band.
