loose and endless longing

The World Is SickSICK; (So Kiss Me Quick)!

this song throws you into an unsteady scene of unknown possibilities. you don't know where it's going. if you can maintain your balance, then this song is uncompromised beauty. it's a tale of triumph over heartbreak, death, sadness, etc. a song of triumph no less. it builds this scene of dreary beauty, of a world that is seemingly dying all around you. buildings fall, flowers die, and it all just spirals into madness. it goes on and expands upon this ending, this urgency of the end times. you only have a bit longer so whatever is ailing you it is time to get it over with. the song builds and you run along with it. you don't know where it's going but you can tell it's somewhere both wonderful and strange. it fades away and this image in your head is a vast field, with clouds and green all around you. beautiful horns scatter the soundscape and invoke a feeling of hope. the cacophony of hell returns and blasts away your ear drums. it's all so harsh, loud and abrasive. it destroys your mind. it lets you know it's over. but you remain at the end. it's all over and the world has ended. you stand in the midst of it all as the dust and ash settle.

however, if you've already fallen to this floor this song is nothing but heartbreak. it's the signal that the end times have long since passed, and you are next to come.

either way, it's a beautiful tune worth listening to. i had it on repeat for a week the first time i got around to relistening to it. it's powerful, and shocks you to the core. it stands out. it keeps you going, whether out of fear or out of that search for beauty. come on, come on! let's go find it. that thing that keeps you going.
