DARKOSTER THEORY

Ok so the building/castle looks is meant to look like its from 1864 and later. (according to a little plaque in the line area) It also says that King Ludwig (the man in that one weird portrait) went insane. Then due to his inability to rule, his advisors tried to overthrow him. Then he hosted a festival, he showed his guests around the castle. A blizzard hit the kingdom and King Ludwig was never seen again. (he died) We can see equipment that doesn't look like its from when King Ludwig was alive. (Such as a monitor tracking a storm, high voltage batteries, snowmobile parts, THE SEATS ARE SNOWMOBILES...) So I assume there are researchers studying what happened and possibly the paranormal activity. There ends up being a storm coming, one like the blizzard that killed King Ludwig. They would probably have the same fate as him (King Ludwig) if they didn't get out in time. The ride is the research team escaping the storm.
