Pathological Demand Avoidance (autism thingy)

To do your own research, just search up 'pda autism' or 'pathological demand avoidance'. PDA can occur in neurotypical people as well.

"Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) refers to a specific profile within the Autism spectrum, where individuals exhibit a strong desire for independence and have an increased sensitivity towards demands that challenge their autonomy. Tasks as simple as putting on shoes, going to sleep, brushing one’s teeth or having breakfast can evoke significant emotional responses in individuals with PDA" - Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Autism: A Guide For Allies - Reframing Autism

PDA basically means to cause extreme stress or anxiety when experiencing a command or expectation. For example; Doing something as routine is fine, but as soon as you are expected to do that thing, it becomes stressful and makes you not want to do that thing.

I'm not diagnosed with the thing (can you even be diagnosed with this?) because I discovered it earlier today, but I relate to it alot. And I mentioned it in my slight vent bulletin, so :3
