Man where do I even start. Yana Toboso is a genius. You know how they say the best romance is always in non-romance anime? This anime is such a good example. 

The way Sebastian panicked and went back to his bocchan’s side when he realized they’ve been cursed, the way he begged Sullivan for help, his expression when he couldn’t help Ciel because he was rejecting adults. 

Do you get where I’m going with this? He doesn’t need to do any of that. If he just wants to eat Ciel’s soul, it wouldn’t matter much to him if Ciel stayed blind or went back to normal. I mean, it’s not even necessarily part of the contract that he had to fix this. 

He’s just so in love that he couldn’t bear it. This anime is so peak oh my god. \(//∇//)\

Well aside from sebaciel moments this episode was phenomenal. We finally get to learn about the other Ciel, which as an anime only (lmao fake fan I promise it won’t stay this way forever!), this is my first ever introduction to him. 

We also finally get to see Ciel suffering…He’s always got that master manipulator “all according to keikaku” aura so it’s so exciting to see something seriously going wrong. If I remember right the last time that happened was in Book of Atlantic? 

That’s why I really need to read the manga. It’s not like I don’t want to, I finished volume 1 and enjoyed it a lot, and have all the volumes downloaded, I’m not even sure why myself, I think I’m just genuinely afraid of catching up to the manga ‘cause it’d mean I don’t have any more kuroshitsuji content (◞‸◟)
