moving out?!

🌙 MOVING IN WITH MY BESTIE?! 

okay. so like. hear me out. there is a very real possibility that this summer, i might get to move in with my best friend. like. actually. LIVE with it. every day. in the same space. BREATHING THE SAME AIR. being feral together. under one roof?!

and i can’t stop thinking about how stupidly cute our lives would be?? like. imagine this: it’s midnight, and we both can’t sleep (again), so we just decide to go for a walk around the city. no plan. no destination. just two lil cryptids wandering under the streetlights like we're the main characters of a coming-of-age movie that got scrapped halfway thru for being too corny??

we’ll come home to snacks we forgot we bought, turn on some random movie we’ve already seen 10 times, and end up talking over the whole thing anyway. and i’ll be wrapped in one of it's hoodies that i definitely didn't steal (except i did. and i’m not giving it back.)

we’ll bleach each other’s hair in the kitchen sink and both panic halfway through but pretend like we’ve got it handled. maybe we’ll go out after, still smelling like developer, and get piercings together like chaotic emo twins!!!!!

i already know we’ll stay up till 4am talking about literally nothing and everything, curled up under too many blankets, scrolling through old photos and laughing until we cry. maybe cry until we laugh. idk. either way we’re crying. it’s the VIBE i crave

and i’ll wake up the next day and there it’ll be—half-asleep, probably trying to make some eggs, and i’ll think: yeah. this is where i’m meant to be. this is my stinky boy. this is home.

i want spontaneous snack runs. i want dance parties in the kitchen. i want to do dumb little crafts together and make questionable food choices and scream-sing along to shitty songs while making eye contact across the living room and wheezing at it.

i want to build a life that feels like safety and glitter and eyeliner and pancakes at 3am.

i love it. i love our friendship. i love who i am when i’m with it. and if we get this summer together, i’m gonna make it count. i’m gonna make it unforgettable. 🕯🖤
