(gonna have to keep this one hush hush so I don't get killed by the zealot fans)
Space Station 13 is...a game. its a lot of things, a 2D top down roleplaying simulator that combines aspects from Viscera Clean Up, Papers Please, rougelikes, and the worst GMOD Dark RP server you know. Its one of the best roleplaying games ever made at its best, and a complete mess at its worst. its private codebase originated from a atmospheric simulation, then that code slowly evolved into SS13 base code, which was then stolen by TG to make the TG codebase, which then was stolen again to make another codebase and so on. The games code is a multiple decade old piece of ancient coding, originating from the EARLY 2000's. As the years have gone on, different servers that host SS13 have added things onto the code, or completely reworked the code, yet pieces from that atmospheric sim still remain. I personally love this game with all my heart, but that's because i've dedicated years of my life to learning how this games systems work. I would actually advise you not to play the game unless you have to resources to be as chronically online as me. This game is complex even in its basic interaction controls, but if you have the patience, then buckle in for the best roleplaying game you'll ever play, with wizards, energy sword wielding traitors, space dragons, changelings, and a station waiting to blow up constantly. You may also find me, under the name Elicp, I usually play on Monkestation cause it has the most features and the gameplay that I like. IF however you would *not* like to dedicate years to learning this bad game, you can also try out Space Station 14, its on steam, and its an attempt at putting the game in a modern engine. It gets more and more features every week, but its still behind in content compared to 13, though it definitely is more streamlined. Anyway, Praise Be Honkmother, and don't eat the Quantum Bread!
