I think that goth as a genre, being somewhat niche, can be really hard to find new music within. I wanted to offer up some of my findings for goth/goth adjacent bands having done some digging through streaming platforms to cultivate my playlists!
I am not claiming that all of these bands are 100% pure goth, some definitely dabble in other genres with their discography but feel free to explore and find what you like! I confirmed that all of these can be found on Spotify, but I am not sure about other platforms like YouTube Music.
- past self (one of the only k-goth bands I've found, super vibey!)
- Snake River Conspiracy
- Death Cult (I think they've gone by other names but you can find them under this on Spotify)
- Give My Remains to Broadway
- Mood of a Sinner
- Ministry (mostly their older stuff)
- Vision Video
- Rosegarden Funeral Party
- Ludovico Technique
- Casket Cassette
- Haunt Me
- Fevr
- Love and Rockets
- Genitorturers
- Twin Tribes
- Paralysed Age
- Pink Turns Blue
- Xmal Deutschland
- The Danse Society
- Then Comes Silence
- The March Violets
- Cinema Bizarre
- Gothminister
- Diva Destruction
Honorable mentions (just bc they don't have much music available or it's hard to find online):
- Radio Werewolf
- The Merry Thoughts
- Suspiria
- Miazma
Please keep in mind that this is my opinion on bands that are lesser
known, and you might personally have heard of them yourself but that
does not mean that others have. By "lesser known" I am basing it off of
how often I see these bands discussed within the community.
