Today you’ll get a glimpse of my (terrible?) taste when it comes to each console. I’m also thinking about making a list of the best games from each genre — like 8 or 10 games total, regardless of generation or console. I think that way I can give more games the spotlight, since picking just one per console is really tough! For example, if I make that list, I’ll finally be able to say that the only good Metal Gear is the one Kojima didn’t make. Oops. Hope you enjoy!
Just a reminder: this is my opinion based on my own experience with the games on this console. If you have a different opinion, it would be really interesting if you shared it on the blog!
Challenging puzzles, a unique atmosphere, and a character that feels like a tank when controlled. Everything in this game makes it worthy of being considered one of the best and most ambitious titles on the console.
"Mary... Could you really be in..." Wait! Wrong game!

I can't even count how many times I've beaten this game, unlocked secret items and outfits—all for the sheer pleasure it gave me. Considering it was also one of the biggest leaps in quality within a game series, I believe RE4 can be considered the best by many people.
"Where’s everyone going? Bingo?"

"Duh, that one was obvious! Wait, why did we go back in time? I thought the list was in chronological order."
It's not, silly. I want to keep you really confused! Back to being serious: Yes, it's obvious that Mario 64 can easily be considered the best game on the console. At a time when 3D was like what ray tracing has been in recent years (no one knew how to use it) this game absolutely nailed it—becoming a timeless classic in gaming history.
"So long, gay bowser!"

Like every weird kid, I didn’t like regular fighting games. In fact, I still hate that type of game to this day. I just can't get good at any of them. But Smash Bros. is different. There's something about it that sets it apart. I think it’s the more arcade-like style—because I don’t feel the same kind of competitiveness that games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter have. I know there are plenty of other games that could’ve made it on this list, but remember: it’s all based on my own experience!
If you want to make a list like this too, I’d be happy to share the page’s code with you. :)

I honestly think there are cooler games out there, but God of War was a series that Sony really wanted to make the “face of the console” back then (and in a way, still does). The graphics, the improved combat compared to the older games, and the brutal takedown of the Olympian gods make this game truly one of a kind.!
"Zeus! Your son has returned. I bring the destruction of Olympus!"

Hey, I’m learning more about how to make nice-looking blogs. The last one was garbage, I admit it. But this one’s a bit more decent! Just a reminder: I’m not a native English speaker, so please forgive any mistakes or exaggerations. I’d really love for this post to reach people who want to share their own opinions. If you’re able to leave a comment, I’d really appreciate it. Part 2 is coming soon — it won’t take long!
