My Clam Jam Experience

last weekend my bf and I drove over to Pawtucket, Rhode Island to go to Clam Jam II, a two day music fest feature a 26 band lineup that together create a microcosm of fifth wave in this venue.

Here's who I saw

Gingerbee

This was the first band we saw as we walked in.  We missed The first two sets because I live 2.5 hours away. They were really good live, like sounds exactly how it feels like its supposed to if that makes sense.  I picked up a tape of the EP. First time seeing them live

Grimlitter

I can't wait til they release something and I can gauge their accumulated popularity

Pyre

Always great set, the only band I heard free palestine

Some crazy sassy whitebelt mosh stuff. Loved their fake guitarist. First time seeing them live

godfuck

They always have a quick set. Glad to see them again before they break up. I picked up a TSOCT record.

Oolong

A little bit of a letdown compared to other sets but I'm not that familiar with the band still. I'll be seeing them again soon. First time seeing them live

The World is a Beautiful Place &INLAD

Such a great set, even though I was only really ever familiar with just one of their albums, I thoroughly enjoyed it, their arrangement was great it really felt like I was immersed in their own special experience. First time seeing them live

In Loving Memory

Definitively the most energetic band of the night. Even though they have trhe oldest avergae age. They fuckin got it. I was never a big ILM listener in my scramz comeup but goddamn ill try and catch their live act any time I can.
