[Manga] Caste Heaven - Complete

I finally finished this one after putting it off for a while because I was scared of seeing the ending! The author did say the ending would be happy but you never know with these authors man. But Ogawa-sensei is not a liar (⌒▽⌒) I loved how it ended.

Azusa becoming a reporter really fits him so well, and I love how him and Karino stayed as tsundere as ever till the end. 

But wait this sounds more like a conclusion, I still have more to say （−＿−；）

Starting off, I really liked the caste system. I was excited to see how the seme Azusa uses his status as king to conquer all the guys at school and then…what? HUHHHH. Azusa becomes the target, and turns out to be a really cute uke. One of the cutest I’ve ever seen, actually. I love Azusa’s character so much I cheer every time he’s on screen. He even had some really good character development, he just kept getting more and more charming with every volume. And he never got his tsundere rays taken away from him which was the best part \(//∇//)\

Something about tsundere ukes is so amazing. “It’s not like I’m enjoying this, stop touching me!” as they moan in pleasure. This is the best yaoi trope to ever exist. Give me ten more please. 

Well aside from Azusa, there is also Karino. The way his character did a complete 180 shocked me. Usually tsunderes don’t get paired up with each other so I couldn’t imagine how it’d work but it totally does. They’re literally so good together. How can two characters be so compatible?!? It’s wonderful. 

Anyways, my second favorite couple is definetly Senzaki and Tatsumi. Ogawa-sensei’s so good at writing characters literally made for each other ‘cause holy shit. THE PIERCING SCENE WAS SO \(//∇//)\\(//∇//)\\(//∇//)\

I also loved her decision of not letting Senzaki return to the school. She mentions this in the final author’s note, that high school is a place for you to graduate from, so she wanted each character to “graduate” from their caste, and that really was the only way for Senzaki to truly do so. But I’m glad she also let them get reunited when they grew up.

TATSUMI SUCKING SENZAKI’S DICK WHILE TATSUMI LITERALLY HAS A WIFE THOUGH .°(ಗдಗ。)°. He may have graduated from his caste but my boy sure didn’t graduate from his horniness. Some things just never change. Please never change, Tatsumi. 

Now for my third favorite, they didn’t get a lot of screen time since it’s just a side story but Yatori and Yukari were just so perfect. I think this is the most “unhealthy” relationship in the manga that never actually got resolved. Like, nobody got closure, Yukari kept getting Yatori kept using Yukari’s inferiority complex to his advantage which was horrible, just how I like it (о´∀`о) 

Again, two of the worst people for each other, yet oh so compatible. 

“Aren’t you glad, Yukari? We’ve finally found something you’re good at.” Chills. This is probably up there at the top 10 yaoi rape scenes.

And even after everything, Yukari doesn’t really have anyone to go back to other than Yatori. MAN I WISH WE COULD’VE SEEN THEM ALL GROWN UP, WHY ARE THEY JUST A SIDE STORY?! (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) 

Unfortunately I have to spam pictures of them to fill the gaping hole their chapter created in my heart.

AND THIS CHAPTER COVER ART. He doesn’t know the shield he’s using is the danger itself…my poor baby. \(//∇//)\

Anyways I think the top 3 is enough, I did enjoy the rest of the cast but these are the ones that really moved my heart if you know what I mean. Butterflies and all. This manga exceeded all my expectations, I loved it so much. 

I’ll give it a final rating of 8, I’d give it an 8.5 if MAL let you put decimals ( ´ ▽ ` ) It was great and all but there were some characters I didn’t like very much. I did enjoy them, like I said, but enjoying something doesn’t necessarily mean liking it. As in, I appreciated their writing but I didn’t appreciate their existence.

Unfortunately one of them is a main character so he was there to piss me off a lot of the time…And one of my favorite couples didn’t get any more than one chapter which pissed me off a little more.

I forgot to touch upon this so I’ll conclude with it. The sex scenes are so good. Chise Ogawa thank you so much for drawing the most scrumptious delicious alluring life changing sex scenes. I’m in love with you. Kekkonshite kudasai ／(^o^)＼
