Dirgahayu (Malaysian Math rock)

On Feb 5th, there was a concert that I went to see the band "Elephant Gym" a cool math rock band from Taiwan that'll be covered in due time. Anyways I went for that band specifically but i did not know that there was an opening band and that band was "Dirgahayu", a math rock from Malaysia (local for me) and their performance absolutely rocked the stage.

After learning about this band i went to another local show where they were also playing, the band was playing their new stuff that they planned to record for an album however since 2023 there has been no news about a new album.

What really caught my attention is their energetic and heavy sound and especially their intricate song structures, being able to fit chaos and peace into one song. And to be honest, they'll just have me headbanging real hard.
