why day of defeat source should be free

i've been playing dods for a while now, and i think it should be free for a couple of reasons.

1: dods needs new players. it could use some younger players. i'm not talking about some snot-nosed little kid, i mean i don't wanna join a lobby and only hear people above the legal american drinking age

2: valve has enough money, and dods isn't even that popular of a game. it doesn't have crazy high player counts, but it has a crazy loyal fanbase. it's a cult classic, and for good reason. if valve made it free, more people would be able to enjoy their game, and, it being a multiplayer game, it'd make the game more fun for everyone playing

3: dods DESERVES love and respect. it's such a well made game, and it has such good competitive potential, only to be locked away behind quite a steep paywall for a game made twenty years ago.
